Minister D.M. Dassanayaka has died after a claymore attack at Ja-Ela Rukmani Devi Junction in Colombo today. A claymore bomb blasted at Negombo main road targeting Minister D.M. Dassanayaka's Vehicle, at around 10.35 am this morning, says Media Centre for National Security.

Minister D.M. Dassanayaka and another 11 Civilians injured were admitted to the Ragama teaching hospital for medical attention. Minister died while a operation in ICU.
